hola custo

fashion week has been such a blast. to see it up close and personal is much better than reading about it and certainly gives me a much stronger understanding of what trends are emerging. metallix. check. oxford heels. check. bronzer make-up and nude lips. check. crest patches and scarves. check. check. and check. I was fortunate enough to get a coveted front row seat last night to the the custo barcelona show. his designs are made wth a sexy, international flair so it was no wonder that it was vibrant contrasting colors, sheer farics and high heels all around. they even gifted the cool scarf you see pictured above where I am posting this to you now. ole!

Hi Jess! I've always liked Cuato, but am beginning to get tired of their style. Do you foresee them changing up their designs in future collections?

I love bronzer and nude lips! I will load up on what I need to. I know I'm still a total novice, but what exactly are those heels that you were describing?

Also, what type of metallix? Shoes? Others? Just curious because I always look to you for all of my fashion advice!

Oh how fun! I've been writing up a storm about Fashion Week from the comfort of my living room, using pix from the Internet, but here you are, actually living the dream! Keep up the good work, lady! ;)

Thanks for your notes on fashion week. I always enjoy your fresh, natural observations, both in print and on TV. I feel like I had a front row seat as well. I will keep my eye opened for those trends you mentioned while I am out shopping. Keep up the great reporting.

Jess help! Since being wayyy out of the NYC scene and submerged in the beige clothes wave that takes over the Hamptons I've come across a serious problem. I want to get a few hip pieces to wear in the fall but don't want to shell out all my work pay for them. What are must have items so I can hold my head up high on a night on the town? Lulu

Hi Jess,
Looks like you're livin' it up under the tents at Bryant Park. Great make-up tips. Any more insider model beauty secrets? Do tell!

hey lisa anne -- stick with silvery, shimmery tops. maybe one with bling under a fitted work jacket and over jeans. or even a fun silver flat - payless has em for $6 right now which works for anyones budget. as for the oxfords, head a few posts back to the "spectator sport" title and you'll get a pic image of what I'm talking about. as for bumping up the beige lulu, I say an easy way to infuse freshness into any wardrobe is to add color in the accessories - maybe a magenta scarf or a patent leather cobalt blue clutch. easy pieces to make the beige pop for less bux.

no need to leave, google it here
