I have a secret. I know one must follow certain fashion etiquette and invest in quality pieces however I have found something so ridiculously trendy and disposable, I can't stay away. conway on 34th and 7th ave in nyc is my secret spot. everything is "inspired" by what's in major stores yet nothing is over $20. my spring flats which are strappy gold with silver rockstar studs were $4.99!??!? let's not mention it again. that said, if you're in nyc and need a new wardrobe or a quick fashion pick me up, conway is a must see.

leggings have become as synonymous with new york city style as the little black dress, so as we move into the warmer months, is the piece still relevant? dressed in a denim top and an alexander wang bra, the pic above is a hot and sexy way to "dress down" during summer when its hot and sexy. gotta figure though, those over the thigh boots will have you sweating up a storm. a comfy and appropriate alternative is the joe boxer leggings available at k-mart. for $12.99, a capri length, rose adorned lace legging is perfect for your summer legging fix.

I'm all for one love. agape. peace. I especially love comfy tees and accessories with peace sign embellishments to promote what I believe. as a kid, I had a favorite oversized tee with a huge black & bold peace sign emblazoned on the front. I've been on the lookout for something similar ever since. some fun finds include: burnout tees with rhinestones, eco-totes and inexpensive trinkets for the peace seeker. even lil miley spreads the love. peace out, maaan.

with the recent crowning of our first arab-american miss america, rima fakih, my super hot boyfriend, majed starring in the recent new york arab-american comedy festival and the soon to be released sex in the city 2 which takes place in the middle east, I figured I would do some investigative trending on the culture and style of the arab world. the popular thaub, traditionally worn by men is a long, white tunic worn in the desert. this can be easily be translated into a beautiful tory burch tunic for the beach. and everyone loves a scarf. the traditional kafia is sold widespread from urban outfitters to the hipster streets of williamsburg. and as for beauty products, my super hot boyfriend majed just educated me on the practice of henna as hair dye. peace through style, people. like jessica simpson, embrace and share the beauty and love in all.

I've seent this pretty lil Jet Set Watch in a couple of store windows and every time I do, I stop and stare as though its a puppy wanting to come home with me. I am in love with the rich, gold colors and bright whites of Michael Kors current accessory collection. Especially the chronograph watch.

I just flew in to houston for the buzzfest music fest at the woodlands pavilion tomorrow. I'll be dressing some ol time rock n' roll favorites such as limp bizkit, deftones, 30 seconds to mars, seether, sick puppies and more. I noticed on the plane over that the texan ladies are very put together and LOVING lavender nail polish like essie's looking for love. I've already seen it more than five times so you know its a trend.
