I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Cool kid bloggers, have trumped celebrity style, and are dominating the way for young style everywhere! Fashion blogging has been around for a while, but it wasn't as apparent as it was last night, at the 2012 Bloglovin' Awards, that social media style is the new front row. Your daily stops like Fashiontoast, Bryan Boy, The Glamourai, even Patrique of Sh*T Fashion Girls Say, jumped off the monitor and into one big Edison Ballroom, air kissing one another in ensembles made of exotic materials, DIY accessories, enormous fur coats, fake glasses and pimped PDA's. I had the great pleasure and honor of co-hosting the event with Derek Blasberg, uber-exclusive socialite, author and Editor-at-Large of Harper's Bazaar, along with presenters Amy Smilovic of Tibi and the Daniel and Mattias, founders of Bloglovin'.
