Dana to the Maxx

For a Stylist, or Editor, or any trendsetting Blogger, these past few weeks have been filled with fashion previews. Which in lay terms, is a showing of a brand's collection for the following season. Target looks great for Spring / Summer 2012 with a Jason Wu for Target collection and lot of juicy colored shiny rain slickers. Remember your yellow raincoat of yesteryear? Well, its coming back in purple, red and turquoise! Ban.do is doing amazing things with accessories that include crystal bowtie shoe clips. And then of course, there is the up and coming designer, that you stumble upon, in a fashion preview haze that makes fashion look a whole lot more clear. For me, that is designer Dana-Maxx. A very cool girl with fiery red hair and lips taking the technicals of fashion and mixing it with her love of style to create a perfect dress for all of us. Already seen on All on the Line with Joe Zee and as a Glamour ambassador, the S / S 2012 Dana-Maxx collection is filled with coral, vintage-inspired reds and both structured like the Chrsyler building and flowy in fabric.
