I just got back from my first zumba class ever. if you've never taken it, it's a quite a feat of sassy latin dance mixed with complicated moves meant for a professional music video dancer. my class in particular was taught by a tall drink of black-asian hottie that I'm sure has dated her fair share of famous musicians and basketball players. thank goodness I've had some dance training and lots of jazzercise in my exercise roster over the years, so I didn't look too horrible. that, matched with the fact that my class was packed to the brim with middle aged Upper East Side white-ies, who I am going to go ahead and profile as not having the smoovest moves. at least I looked good rocking my bodyrock sport ruby bra with my shauna tank. speaking of bodyrock sport, designer kelly dolley competed in the nyc triathalon this past week. and her hubby to be, celebrity trainer, andrew kalley won the whole damn thing!? check out his appearance on FOXnews talking about the unfortunate downside of endurance competition here.

last night's bodyrock sport event at s factor was so much fun. have you done s factor?! if you're in a major city, I recommend clicking the link and taking a class or two. once the initial embarrassment passes, it. is. awesome. works the arms, the abs, the sexy back (insert sexy wink emoticon here). and the best part is, the outfits!? seraphin, the lead instructor came out to demonstrate and wore the most adorably naughty black swan tutu to strut her stuff in. paired with a cher bra, she looked and danced for a boys night out. but for girls only!? genius. I'm a regular style correspondent on tv guide's fashion team, they came to cover the event so make sure to stay tuned for air dates on the 'out of the sweatsies and into the sexxxies' show segment.

SPiN New York is the sh*t

Last night was an incredible event at SPiN New York! Hosted by BodyRock Sport, we raised over $5,000 for breast cancer research to benefit the Carol M/ Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. Stephen Baldwin showed and played and won (?!) against a team of a dozen super models from Independent Model Management. My Mom, who is a breast cancer survivor even played?! We spread the love. BodyRock Sport by Kelly Dooley NYFW S/S 2011

Yesterday marked the fashion presentation at Chelsea Piers for the new collection of BodyRock Sport by Kelly Dooley. 25 models styled in the hottest Supertrash leather leggings, stilettos and luxe BodyRock Sport sports bra. Our style cycle class was held overlooking the Hudson River in the all new Cycle Studio and the class was held by famed triathlete, Andrew Kalley. We had Alicia Keyes' make-up artist and my darling friend, Ashunta Sheriff keying the looks and I styled the wardrobe on the girls who all incredibly chic while cycling away. The designer Kelly Dooley rocked The Trenta, the world's most expensive sports bra witha pair of Supertrash sequence leggings and a Supertrash cropped leather jacket. Major! We had a blast and everyone was in great spirits. Plus, NBC came through and shot a fun piece that ran on Taxi TV. Keep your eyes peeled on that if you're in a NYC cab... This Thursday, September 9 is the kick-off to New York Fashion Week. All of the fashion world will have it's eye on what trends are headed down the runway and into your closet. I'll be on the scene at the shows and even producing one of my own for BodyRock Sport by Kelly Dooley at Chelsea Piers in the all new cycle room in a simulated style cycle class led by celebrity triathlete Andrew Kalley overlooking the Hudson River. I pledge to deliver as many as "real girl / guy" trends I find. First up!
