last night, my boyfriend, majed and I had tickets to a broadway show. so, we thought it nice to get spiffed up for one another and hit the town proper date style. I wore my gorgeous virgin lambswool prada black dress that evokes madonna in the dolce & gabbana ads and he wore... a denim button down and structured black suit jacket. and despite my repeated attempts at offering my style expert opinion that the two just don't mesh, majed was convinced that he was experimenting with the jeans and jacket look, and this was his interpretation. adorable. what can I say? he has a great tush!

I'm totally obsessivo with the pint-sized offspring of the most influential performer of my time. ms. madonna ciccone has created a mini fashion mogul in her thirteen year old daughter, lourdes aka lola leon. the material girl collection will be out in macy's come august and I for one am totally ready to live in her world.

**trend alert!!** ladies. if you're looking for something new in a handbag, fringe is really happening. I've recently seen many on the red carpet and celeb events. its all very nicole richie. get fresh with the fringe. you can go as high as a jimmy choo or as low as a forever 21 steal.

bootights

are the boots? are they tights? yes! they're both!! met this super cool chickie at sundance who made the very cool fashion item, bootights which are tights designed exclusively for wearing boots. they are clever, and cozy and comy and cute. since boots are de riguer for the urban fashion set, this is a must have item for the sock drawer.

sundance state of mind

I have been chillin in the snow at the 2010 sundance film festival in park city, utah this past week. met a ton of very cool entertainment peeps and got gifted with some very cool gifts. KSINO's gibson guitar lounge was the hit of main street. the twitter house was a ton of fun and adrien grenier's talk on twitter was eye opening. chefdance held at harry o's in celebration of the boys and girls club of america was delicious and super fun and the son of the babylon, the film we saw yesterday was heartbreaking. thank god we had the dreamy cloud sake at shabu to wash away the pain.
