sunglasses for your face shape

its a pretty easy rule of thumb when buying sunglasses that if you've got a round shape, square glasses like a ray-ban wayfarer is best and if you've got a square face, bring on the oversized circular shades. I've always been a purist when it comes to my sunglasses, rocking the ray-ban aviators in gold and silver. I have a collection that includes wayfarers, oversized chanels, embellished gold chanel aviator and even the heart shaped sunglasses you catch in my blog pic. those I got on the set of vh-1's glam god and have loved them ever since. eyewear is a very specific style choice for both men and women. and these twin girls, coco & breezy certainly know how to do it up. if you like what you see, click that link and 'like' it on the page and let me know what shades you are wearing at night?

hot dang, ladies - work that color! my fave red dress of oscar evening was the valentino that anne hathaway wore. overall, I loved halle berry's nude and sparkley dress by marchesa with mila kunis in a lovely, lavendar elie saab coming in a close second. whose was your favorite?

a few months ago, I was approached by the fine folks at driver digital, a full service production house and online distribution company. their popular web hit, digits needed a follow-up and we were fortunate enough to find one another at the right time. I am currently crushing on zara, the international brand that lucky for us, is in most US malls. they have everything my fashion heart desires and for most looks under $100. I snapped a pic of this luxurious faux fur wrap vest with adorable and effortless brown belt, all for $70!? They have animal prints in the chicest places and their fits equal their buyer-friendly price tag. gift certificate anyone?

jess loves lanvin loves h&m

I have the fortune of living a hop & skip from h&m and a nyc one at that, ensuring that the windows are dressed beyond divine. we fashion lovers all know by now that lanvin is working the h&m collab and the adorable windows reflect it... so, with a November 20 launch date, what are you thinking? I am sucker for lanvin, placing alber elbaz's deisgns at the top of my top three fave houses but if it's between us girls, I'm minimally shocked at the prices.everything over $100, most cocktail pieces close to $250. If u recall a few past designers: lagerfeld, stella mccartney, the prices were never this bloated. and while, the pieces are perfectly lanvin, is it a wise purchase to pay out so much at h&m, while great in a pinch doesn't hold it's own on the real thing. I might be sticking to eBay for my lanvin couture. a bit more money but "the real deal" quality that pays for itself.
