luxury for less

a few posts back I commented on the studded shoe that is rocking right now. jimmy choo has a collab with ugg on a black boot studded out in gold and silver grommets. they retail at $800. after a quick pop in to the harlem costco today (I buy their two dozen roses for $15 that last a month!?), I peeped these pictured above kirkland brand ugg-inspired boots for $35 and decided I am absolutely going to stud them out proper for winter. so what if kirkland makes everything from tequila to toilet paper to tires. I do not discriminate. bedazzle party anyone?

CBS Early Show is cooler than you

last week I was taken by surprise when the CBS early show hit on a trend that most young, hipster ladies are seen wearing on the brooklyn L train -- the granny shoe. I was so impressed with the fashion forward piece that I had to blog the world. or at least the massive australian audience on lostateminor who also coincidentally created that other ugly boot, uggs.
