Love, Lanvin

I'm a paper junkie. I love a classic and stylish stationary on which to write old school thank you notes. I use mostly Crane & Co., but have it bad for Smythson of Bond St. Now that Lanvin, available at Barneys, is in the letter writing game, I'm having a love affair with it. You like?

My New Favorite Trend. What's Yours?

One word. peplum. Can't get enough. Want the sexy silhouette, which features a flared ruffle attached to the waist of a shirt, morning, noon and night. And now.

New Looks for Your Nails

Absolutely loving what the young set is doing with nails these days. Pretty Little Liars inspired this black & red mix and match.

The cracked look is all fresh, and funk rock.

And my personal favorite, the neon orange for a juicy pop of Summer in Winter.

One Scoop Or Two?

Inspired by Ms. Janelle Monae, I'm rocking a bow tie at work today. Purchased from American Apparel, the unisex piece set me back $18.

Most people either love the bold choice, but more than not, they say I look like a waiter. Ha. What do you think?

Kiss This

When I heard the news last week that I'm Vitamin D deficient, I took it upon myself to boost my D intake. Since it's freezing in NYC, standing out in the cold to get some sun ain't working for me, so I'm getting my sunshine in the form of these amazingly bold, pop-y colored Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color by Urban Decay. Goes on creamy and stays on long in juicy bursts of neon orange and bright fuchsia. Stays on forever and fills my Winter need for an instant seasonal pick me up.

In honor of MLK Day

...I'm breaking out this vintage post from July 13, 2008. Fashion loves everyone. Follow the trend.

And the Golden Globe Goes To...

Fishtails, bodices and proper yellow were big winners last night on the Red Carpet of the 2012 Golden Globes. My favorite looks?

Laura Dern

Viola Davis

Emma Stone, Sofia Vergara, Reese Witherspoon and Julianne Moore also looked ravishing. My dreaded picks for Red Carpet disasters?

Zooey Deschanel in Prada

Madonna in Reem Acra

And what the bleep was Meryl Streep was wearing? She was rocking a late 80's banana clip!? Who'd you love or loathe?

Furby Fashion

In my last post, I gave propers to a bit of faux fur to keep fashionably warm for the winter. If keepin' it real is more your thing, this ultra-lux 1969 mink link purse by Paco Rabanne is exclusively at Barney's and retails for little under a half year's rent.

New Year. Fresh Trends.

New Year is like Vegas. What happened in 2011, stays in 2011. I love the fresh start that accompanies January 1. And that means, a new look for a new year. January is a cold month, so it's best to bundle up fashionably. Cable knit sweaters belted at the waist with a skinny colored belt is perfect over a pop-y colored skirt that hits below the knee. Loving a lady-like heel or a chunky boot that goes with all of my colored denim of green, red and pink, and new sheer, long sleeve button-downs. To top, dashes of faux fur, at the neck, on my gloves, or on a vest are an extra layer of colder month yumminess. What will YOU be wearing this winter?
